Crosslane recognised early on that to be differentiated and market leading we needed to manage the supply chain end- to-end and thus created the Prime Student Living property management business to manage properties developed by Crosslane Student Developments, to ensure maximum long term investment yields. Since conception however, Prime Student Living has gone on to manage student accommodation properties for other clients besides Crosslane.

Achievement and Ambition

Prime Student Living offers more than just accommodation and somewhere to live. Of course we create, safe, secure environments where residents can make friends, socialise and study in pleasurable and relaxing surroundings, with everything from landscaped exterior space to CCTV. However, we create and build a community, integrated into the university, where students are at ease and can socialise as well as work together and our on-site resident co-ordinator teams regularly organise social events to ensure our properties are fun places to be.

Student insight to drive new development and facilities

Student requirements are changing, and their needs and wants are becoming ever more demanding.

In November 2015, Prime Student Living ran over 16 different student focus groups, with over 140 students attending over a 4 week period.  This research, covering students across all years of study and postgraduates as well as undergraduates, including non-Prime Student Living students, has given the business new insight into what students are demanding now and as importantly, in the future.  The output of which will go into shaping improvements in the facilities and living spaces for all our properties.
