Crosslane UK Real Estate is one of four internal divisions within the Crosslane Group.

As the name suggests, this division is focussed on real estate property development and management within the UK, in both the student accommodation and private residential sectors.

This division includes separate businesses that focus on specific areas of expertise; Crosslane Student Developments, Crosslane Residential Developments and the Crosslane lettings and operational management business, Prime Student Living.


Crosslane Student Developments

Crosslane Student Developments has established a proven track record of successfully identifying, acquiring, developing and investing in high quality, conveniently located, purpose-built student accommodation property (PBSA), completing projects in the UK with a value of over £170 million comprising 2,351 beds since 2008.

These include new build sites, conversion of properties to student accommodation from other uses, as well as renovations and refurbishments.

In addition, Crosslane has 584 beds currently under construction and substantial UK development pipeline of over 2,200 beds.


Crosslane Residential Developments

Crosslane Residential Developments specialises in the re-development of existing properties into private residential dwellings for either the buy-to-let rental market or for sale.

The approach is to identify old buildings which require a change of use from office, commercial or warehousing, then converting these into stylish, contemporary 1, 2 or 3 bedroom open plan apartments.

Properties are selected based on their abundant character and rich heritage, where original historic features can be retained within the re-development, making them individually unique and distinctive, creating a fusion of ultra-modern living, within historic surroundings.

Target properties are sought within major city centre locations, close to major amenities and a wealth of leisure and entertainment options for those seeking a city centre urban lifestyle.

Such is the demand for this type of property that over 50% of units have been sold off plan prior to work on site commencing.

Current developments are taking place in Birmingham and Nottingham with other cities such as Manchester, Bristol, Cardiff and Leeds being investigated.


Crosslane lettings and operational management business, Prime Student Living.

Crosslane recognised early on that to be differentiated and market leading it needed to manage the supply chain end-to-end and thus created the Prime Student Living business to manage properties developed by Crosslane Student Developments, to ensure maximum long term investment yields. Since conception however, Prime Student Living has gone on to manage student accommodation properties for other clients besides Crosslane.

Prime Student Living currently operates 12 student accommodation properties in the UK, with 2,351 beds in 9 different cities.
