Crosslane Fund Managers
Crosslane has created and executed a unique business model of acquiring and developing a PBSA portfolio, with the intention of retaining the lettings and management of the properties once complete, thereby controlling the supply chain end-to-end.
Crosslane initially developed out this strategy through the creation of two special purpose structures: Crosslane Student Accommodation Fund No.1 Limited Partnership in 2009 and St. Regent Limited Partnership in 2010.
Both structures are funded by a Luxembourg fund of funds that between them acquired in the open market a total of five student accommodation assets for an aggregate purchase price of almost £40 million.
Crosslane Fund Managers is responsible for managing both special purpose structures and the assets within them, with the lettings and management being performed by the Crosslane operational platform; Prime Student Living.
