About Crosslane Group
The Crosslane Group of companies was founded by Michael Sharples and James Metcalf in 2007. At the time of inception, both Michael and James considered the UK property market to be over valued and the likely outcome was to be a downturn in both values and transactions across all sectors of the property market. This in their view offered opportunity and Crosslane was formed to take advantage of lower values and the benefit of being able to acquire property assets at a low point in the property cycle.
Today, Crosslane operates as Fund Manager for the 'Crosslane Student Accommodation Fund No.1.', it provides asset and letting management services for over 1000 student beds and it owns and manages 'Rowcliffes', the largest independent estate agency network in the High Peak, Derbyshire. Rowcliffes has residential sales and lettings offices in Buxton, Chapel-en-le Frith, Whaley Bridge, Disley and New Mills. In addition, it operates two Santander Bank Agencies in Glossop and New Mills, Derbyshire.
Within Crosslane, over 50 highly experienced specialist property and financial personnel are now employed.
